Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Skills - 78 Credits (Level 3) Kick start a successful welding career in just 14 weeks with our Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Skills course.
This course includes safety, use of hand and power tools, workshop and fabrication skills, MIG/TIG and Arc welding, engineering drawing.
Certificate in Advanced Welding - 77 Credits (Level 4) Enhance your welding career in just 14 weeks with our Certificate in Advanced Welding course.
This course extends the content of the Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Skills course to higher levels, with more advanced fabrication projects, marking out and development, aluminium and stainless steel welding, and welding in all positions.

Course Structure: Qualifications are unit standard based. Unit standards are developed by industry training organisations and are chosen to suit the training needs of the engineering and welding industries. Each unit standard has a defined level and credit value (approximate study time).
Welder Qualifications: At the discretion of the Head Welding Tutor students who meet all NZ Welding School requirements may have the opportunity to sit industry based welder qualifications (Tickets) at the end of each course at no extra cost.
